Plane Pull Acknowledgment and Waiver - You will be asked to electronically sign this waiver when registering for the event.

In order to participate in the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region Plane Pull (the “Plane Pull”), each team member must sign this Acknowledgment and Waiver. Please read the information below carefully and then sign under Team Member Release Signature.  If you have any questions, please call Chris Callanan at 215.387.8406.

1. I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Plane Pull involves physical exertion and the risk of bodily injury, including serious injury or even death.  I acknowledge that this risk includes, but is not limited to, risk of the following injuries:  injuries caused by slipping or falling on the tarmac, injuries caused by the effects of temperature or humidity, injuries caused by physical interaction with other participants, and injuries related to the health and physical condition of the individual participant.  By signing below, I acknowledge that I understand and assume the risks associated with participating in the Plane Pull, including risk of harm caused by the negligence or carelessness of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region (“RMHC Philly”) or any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, or volunteers. 
2. I represent that I am in good health, know of no health or physical condition that would prevent me from participating in this event, and have not been advised by any medical or healthcare professional that I should not participate in an event like the Plane Pull.  I further agree that I will not participate in the Plane Pull unless I am physically and medically able and properly trained to do so.  Additionally, I agree that I will not participate in the Plane Pull if an event official asks me not to do so.
3. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Plane Pull, I, on my own behalf and on behalf of my successors, heirs, and assigns (the “Participant Releasors”), hereby waive, release and discharge any claims, causes of action, or demands of any kind whatsoever (“Claims”) that I or any of the other Participant Releasors have or in the future may have against RMHC Philly or any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers (the “RMHC Philly Releasees”) arising from or relating to my participation or the participation of any of my minor children in the Plane Pull, even if the Claim arises out of or relates to negligence or carelessness on the part of RMHC Philly or any of the other RMHC Philly Releasees.  I further agree that I will indemnify and hold all RMHC Philly Releasees harmless from any damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, which they may suffer as a result of my participation or the participation of any of my minor children in the Plane Pull.  
4. I hereby voluntarily consent to receive emergency medical services by event staff or emergency medical services personnel in the event of an injury or medical emergency during or in connection with the Plane Pull.
5. I hereby grant permission for RMHC Philly to use my name and image in any television, radio, Internet, or social media promotion or account of the Plane Pull or any other legitimate promotional purpose.
