Dear Richie Nelson Celebration of Life Supporter,
As we navigate these uncertain times together, we have made the tough decision to cancel the 2020 Richie Nelson Celebration of Life Golf Outing. While we will not have an event, we are asking for your commitment to help the families currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House during the coronavirus pandemic as well as the campers attending Ronald McDonald Camp this summer.
While the path ahead is daunting for all of us who are concerned about health, wealth and loved ones; guest families at the Ronald McDonald House have these concerns and the added burden of their child’s critical illness.
Throughout the 45 year history of the Ronald McDonald House, they have never had to close their doors to families in need and they have no plans to do so now. In fact, there are more than 70 families currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia despite the limited House staff available to assist these families.
If it is within reach for you, we ask you to consider a gift to support the operational needs of the Ronald McDonald House – prioritizing their food service and social work programs - as these are key aspects of delivering hope and comfort to families right now. We also ask for your support so we can allocate additional funding towards the Ronald McDonald Camp program which is still taking place this summer.
